Team Ukraine for the second time in the Scholarship Program "2026 Astronaut Al Worden Endeavour Scholarship"

The Endeavour Scholarship is an internationally recognized educational initiative run by the Endeavour Scholarship Foundation. The program provides full-time internships to outstanding high school students (aged 16-18) and STEM educators.

This prestigious, fully-funded scholarship program brings together students and educators from around the world to inspire and educate the next generation of leaders in space and STEM. Through an engaging experience, it highlights the critical role of international collaboration in advancing science and technology.

This year, the Endeavour Scholarship Fund, in partnership with and with the support of the State Space Agency of Ukraine and the О. Makarov National youth aerospace education center, selected 4 participants for the second national team of Ukraine – 3 students and one teacher and chaperone, who are active participants in the aerospace educational process, prizewinners of aerospace and STEM events of the All-Ukrainian and International levels:

1. PEDKO Ivan, student of Dnipro Lyceum No. 137 of the DMR, alumnus of the Aerospace School "Vsesvit" of the National Center for Aerospace Education of Youth named after O.M. Makarov;
2. SKOREYKO Vladyslav, student of Chernivtsi Multi-Profile Lyceum No. 4 of the Chernivtsi City Council, alumnus of the Bukovina Small Academy of Sciences of Student Youth;
3. KRUTIY Taras, student of the Lyceum "Dominanta" of the Dniprovsky district of Kyiv, a member of the aviation and rocket modeling club;
4. PALADIYCHUK Yulia, Deputy Director for Methodological Work of the Municipal Regional Extracurricular Educational Institution "Bukovyna Small Academy of Sciences of Student Youth"

The 2026 Scholarship Program provides for a week-long stay at the Space Camp USA (23.07.26-1.08.26) in Huntsville, Alabama, with full coverage of all expenses, where teams will participate in astronaut training, simulated missions, international teambuilding events, and educational sessions with leaders in the aerospace industry.

On July 20-23, 2026, the national team of Ukraine participated in aerospace events at the Farnborough International Air Show (Great Britain), where participants met with prominent figures in the aviation and rocketry industries, including Charles DUKE - an American astronaut, the youngest person to visit the Moon in the Apollo 16 mission, Tom KALLMAN, President and CEO of Kallman Worldwide…
