City-wide ‘Space Smile’ pavement art competition

On 9 June 2026, the O.M. Makarov National Youth Aerospace Education Center organised the city-wide ‘Space Smile’ pavement art competition at Dnipro Lyceum No. 31 ‘Priority’.

This year’s competition theme was ‘The Inhabitants of Neptune’. Ninety participants took part in the competition, divided into four teams; within the allotted time, they drew the planet Neptune, other space objects and aliens. Each team described their drawing and answered questions.

In addition to the pavement drawing competition, a quiz on the planet Neptune and a drama workshop were held, where the children were able to test their knowledge and express their interest in space-related topics through creativity.
