Young Writers 'Space Dreams'
On 10 March 2026, as part of educational and outreach activities, an awards ceremony for the winners of the 11th All-Ukrainian Creative Works Competition ‘Literary Universe’ took place in the aerospace classrooms of O. M. Makarov National Youth Aerospace Education Center (NYAEC) at Dnipro Lyceum No. 31 ‘Priority’, run by Dnipro City Council.
‘Literary Universe’ provides an environment for the creativity of children and young people who dream of and wish to realise their cosmic dreams in the future; for now, they bring them to life through flights of thought, imagination and literary talent.
The competition serves as an incentive for young astronomers and researchers to pursue further scientific discoveries and scientific and technical developments, and acts as a kind of compass, indicating which fields of science will be more promising for young people in choosing a future profession and in the exploration of space.
This year, 37 pupils from Lyceum No. 31 ‘Priority’ took part in the ‘Literary Universe’ competition, and all received certificates.
The winners were awarded diplomas and certificates, whilst the teachers who supervised the creative projects received letters of appreciation.
The dreams of science fiction writers are coming true, and the era of space exploration is gathering pace.
