Aerospace summer camp

The NYAEC staff organised and conducted a space trip for the participants of the aerospace summer camp of the Dnipro Lyceum No. 31 ‘Priority’ of the Kyiv City Council.

75 young astronauts joined educational and cognitive activities on aerospace topics, took part in interactive meetings with representatives of extraterrestrial civilisations and creative workshops in a playful way.
The children were offered

- interactive and multimedia programmes about constellations and planets;
- workshops ‘Planetarium in the palm of your hand’ and ‘Rays in the palm of your hand’;
- Black Holes competition, a game with space-themed Crocodile cards;
- puzzle solving and ‘Guessing Box’;
- Earth from the height of space flight on the NASA website;
- getting acquainted with a real telescope and sunglasses used to observe the Sun;
- storytelling ‘Solar Family’.
