Regional workshop ‘Dnipro Space Capital of Ukraine’
On 15 May 2025, the Regional Workshop ‘Dnipro Space Capital of Ukraine’ was held at the Dnipro Lyceum No. 31 ‘Priority’ of the Dnipro City Council.
The purpose of the event was to acquaint the participants with the system of work of the educational institution on the implementation of the research and experimental work ‘Development and implementation of educational and methodological support for STEM education in the context of educational reform’ as part of the exchange of best pedagogical practices for the development of research skills and STEM competencies in the classroom and out of school hours with the lyceum's partners.
The seminar participants were greeted by Oksana Buturlina, Head of the Department of Information and Education Project Management at the Dnipro Academy of Continuing Education.
Viktor Netskyi, director of Dnipro Lyceum No. 31 ‘Priority’ of the Dnipro City Council, spoke about the lyceum's participation in educational projects.
As part of the educational process and cooperation with the Dnipro Lyceum No. 31 ‘Priority’ of the Dnipro City Council, the NYAEC staff took part in a workshop.
Maryna Kylymnyk, Head of the NYAEC's Training Department, told the seminar participants about the successful results of fruitful cooperation.
Iryna Fedorenko, Deputy Director General for Science and Education at NYAEC, introduced the participants to the space toponomy of Dnipro.
Liudmyla Marchenko, astronomy teacher at the NYAEC, presented a workshop on Science vs. Fiction.
Students and teachers of the Dnipro Lyceum No. 31 ‘Priority’ of the Dnipro City Council presented their STEM projects.
The Dnipro Space Capital of Ukraine workshop was also attended by representatives of the Yuzhnoye State Design Office, the VSP of the Professional College of Rocket and Space Engineering of Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, and the Dnipro Polytechnic National Technical University.
All participants noted that the event was creative, productive and interesting.
