Presentation of the book of memoirs "There are people like stars" dedicated to Vladimir Platonov

In December 2024, a presentation of the book of memoirs "There are people like stars" dedicated to Vladimir Platonov, a Ukrainian journalist, writer, historiographer of rocket and space technology, screenwriter and director of a number of documentaries, photographer, artist and simply a good, decent and noble person, a patriot of Ukraine, was held at the O.M. Makarov National Youth Aerospace Education Center.

The book reflects different stages of his life and activities, as well as the memories of his comrades, friends and close relatives. This is a book of memories that does not have one author, there are more than twenty authors here. And they all wrote about one person, whom they respected and valued, who played a greater or lesser role in the life of each. And each memory contains new facts from the life of Vladimir Petrovich, new details, new character traits are described.

People who directly communicated with Vladimir Petrovich in different life circumstances were invited to the presentation of the book.

The audience watched a video film called "The Life of Vladimir Platonov" (short episodes from life).
