Family competitions dedicated to the Safer Internet Day "FAMILY GAMES" within the framework of the complex thematic project "Space Brotherhood"
On March 12, 2023, FAMILY GAMES Family Competitions were held on the occasion of the Safer Internet Day as part of the Space Brotherhood project.
"FAMILY GAMES" is a team competition for families, whose participants compete in the ability to complete a task and find the correct answer to a question in the allotted time.
Students of the School of Computer and Network Technologies of the National Center for Advanced Education and their families joined the competition.
6 international teams: Dnipro and Bratislava (Slovakia) - 8th grade students of the Municipal Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 31" of the Dnipro City Council and 6th grade students of the Municipal Educational Institution "Educational Complex No. 12 "Secondary School of the First Degree - Gymnasium" of the Dnipro City Council, as well as students of the Lyceum of Liege (Belgium).
They demonstrated their knowledge and skills in the safe use of modern digital and information and communication technologies.
The competition was held online in two rounds:
- Round I - introduction and presentation of the teams;
- Round II - intellectual competitions.
Among the tasks were tests of erudition, intelligence, and the application of information obtained at the NYAEC School of Computer and Network Technologies.
The teams learned to recognize fake messages on web pages and social networks.
The participants of the Competition formulated specific tips for safe behavior in the digital space, showed their knowledge in the field of computer technology, general knowledge of cybersecurity, and demonstrated ingenuity, resourcefulness, and teamwork.
The winners and participants of the competition will be awarded diplomas and certificates.
The meeting of the teams was interesting and informative.
