Official awarding of the winners of the city computer technology competition "We are the Children of the Galaxy"

On 9 July 2025, the O. M. Makarov NYAEC held a solemn awarding ceremony for the winners of the computer technology competition ‘We are the Children of the Galaxy’.

Participants of the junior and senior groups took part with works in the field of Computer Creativity, including presentations and pages of their own websites with research and legends on space topics.

The contest was held in two stages: first, the jury selected the entries for the second stage from all the submitted entries, and then the participants defended their entries in front of the jury to determine the winners.

We remind you that the winners of the competition are:

Junior group

• 1st place - Vadim Litvinov, Center for the development of children and youth ‘STARTUM’ of the DСС, presentation ‘Radio Telescope on the back of the Moon’
• 2nd place - Angelika Nosenko, Center for the development of children and youth ‘STARTUM’ of the DСС, presentation "What is the parade of planets
• 3rd place - Roman Rogov, Center for the development of children and youth ‘STARTUM’ of the DСС, web-site ‘The Legend of the Martian Catastrophe’

In addition, a separate nomination for the ‘youngest star’ was given to Lev Mazepa, the Centre for Children and Youth Development “Startum” of the City Council, with the work ‘The Tale of Kolobok as a History of the Slavic Zodiac’, written in English.

Senior group

• 1st place - Andrii Zenchenko, Dnipro Professional College of Radio Electronics, presentation ‘Space in Thoughts, Freedom in Dreams: The Story of Mykola Kybalchych’ 
• 2nd place - Alisa Tereshchenko, school ‘Gymnasium № 34’ KMR, presentation ‘The era of smart technologies: how artificial intelligence conquers the universe’
• 3rd place - Maksym Litvinov, Center for the development of children and youth ‘STARTUM’ of the DСС, presentation ‘The Polar Vortex on the Planets of the Solar System’
