Online lecture "Women Discover the Universe"

On February 11, 2026, an online lecture "Women Discover the Universe" was held, which was dedicated to the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

The speaker - Marchenko Lyudmila, a lecturer of the highest category and an experienced astronomer, introduced the audience to women scientists who have linked their research careers with astronomy.

More than 218 participants took part in the stream, including young astronomers, schoolchildren, students and interested listeners.

We hope that such interesting information will inspire the younger generation, and not only girls, to master new knowledge and further implement it in scientific and technical (improvement of technologies), social (development of society), economic (growth in production) and biological (success of the species) progress.
