DECREE OF THE PRESIDENT OF UKRAINE ON ESTABLISHMENT OF THE NATIONAL YOUTH AEROSPACE EDUCATION CENTER
By the Decree of the President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma No. 410/96 of 11 June 1996, the National Space Agency of Ukraine, the State Enterprise ‘Production Association Yuzhny Machine-Building Plant’, the State Design Bureau “Yuzhnoye” named after M.K. Yangel and the Ukrainian Youth Aerospace Association ‘Suzirya’ opened the National Centre for the National Youth Aerospace Education Center of Ukraine in Dnipro.

Regulations on the National Youth Aerospace Education Center
ORDER OF THE CABINET OF MINISTERS OF UKRAINE
On 11 September 2006, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Olexander Makarov, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine issued Order No. 482-p to name the NYAEC after its founder, O.M. Makarov, which the Center proudly bears to this day.
