Kyiv Branch of the О.M. Makarov National Youth  Aerospace Education Center 

The branch is opened for the purpose of practical implementation of the Centre's tasks in the northern region of Ukraine (Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy and Zhytomyr regions).

Purpose and scope of the Branch's activities

The main goal of the Branch is to create conditions for the comprehensive development of young people, implement the state youth policy, promote the professional development of young people and their employment.

The subject of the Branch's activities is:

1. Provision of education services by:

• conducting the educational process based on the latest achievements of pedagogical science, introducing intensive teaching methods and technologies;
• organising training and internships for students, including abroad, in educational institutions, enterprises, institutions and organisations;
• generalisation of experience, advanced training and retraining of personnel;
• providing organisational and methodological assistance to educational institutions in the creation of specialised aerospace classes, schools, lyceums, and other types of educational institutions;
• development and publication of curricula, programmes, methodological recommendations, textbooks, educational and methodological literature on aerospace and scientific and technical topics;
• organising training in working with computer and other modern equipment.

2. Propaganda and popularisation in Ukraine and abroad of the achievements of aviation and astronautics, their role in the economic and social development of society.
3. Developing children and youth's interest in aviation and astronautics, science and technology, ecology, research, educational and scientific activities, searching for and supporting gifted youth by

• holding competitions, contests, quizzes, conferences, exhibitions of creative works of young people;
• conducting research and development work with the participation of students, youth and specialists, including on special topics of ministries and departments, and implementing and implementing their results;
• providing additional educational services to applicants to higher education institutions, students and persons with higher education.

4. Formation of a fully developed personality of a young person by providing him/her with the opportunity to improve according to individual needs in areas beyond secondary and higher education.
