Educational and Methodological Department

The Educational and Methodological Department is a structural unit of the A.M. Makarov National Centre for Aerospace Education of Youth.

Main tasks:

1. Ensuring the educational and scientific-methodical process.
2. Ensuring the operation of the Aerospace School (including preparation for external independent testing and correspondence aerospace school), the School of Computer and Network Technologies, aerospace clubs and the Rocket and Space Modelling Laboratory.
3. Carrying out educational activities related to the provision of vocational education.
4. Promoting practical training in the specialty, expanding educational services to improve the quality of education and accessibility for Ukrainian citizens.
5. Annual organization and holding of mass events for young people, including:

• All-Ukrainian competition of creative works by schoolchildren ‘Literary Universe’;
• All-Ukrainian conference-competition of research works by schoolchildren ‘Star Trek’;
• All-Ukrainian comprehensive thematic project ‘Space Brotherhood’;
• Master classes, competitions, testing for aerospace students and youth and other aerospace-related events.
